Congratulations Hellrazor, winner of the Mildura 100 

The Hellrazor crew of Mark Cranny and Damien Matthews with skiers Peter Proctor and Christopher Gelle have claimed the gruelling Mildura 100 ski-boat race for the third year in a row after an action-packed weekend on the Murray.

The Super Class boats were harried all weekend by a cheeky effort from Unlimited-class boat Agitator after the crew of Darren Stewart, Adrian Pickering, Justin Cadden and Kristofer Knights posted the fastest time in Saturday’s dash for cash races – four seconds clear of race-favourites Hellrazor.

But, as expected it was Hellrazor who reigned supreme on Sunday, winning the Mildura 100 in a time of 33minutes and 37seconds from Top Gun and Superman.

Agitator finished fourth.

Update!

Team Hell was unable to claim a record in today’s tricky conditions and leaves the King of the Murray vacant for 2012. That means the prize jackpots for 2013.

Dennis Rowbottom King of the Murray

The GTS Freight Management Mildura 100 Ski Race sees the last leg of the prestigious Dennis Rowbottom King of the Murray. The prize goes to the most consistent outright expert team collecting point from the Four Murray River Races: Berri 90, Southern 80, Robinvale, Mildura 100. Teams must chase 65 points or greater with the same boat, but allowing only one crew member change over the four races and must enter and start all four races. Team Hell has Hellrazor in position as the only boat that could reach the required 65 points, they will however have to win the race outright for 20 points and secure the race record for the bonus 5 points.
